Responsible for creating & implementing, as required by management, P6 structure, “EPS, OBS, WBS, Resource, and Global Activity Codes” and reports for the rebuild of the #7 Boiler.  The Boiler was shut down after Hurricane Ike and had been idle since then.  Rebuild was extensive and required merging Multiple contractor schedules into a master schedule and report accordingly. Willbros Construction, Inc.   Litigation Support for Construction Claims.

Willbros Construction, Inc.  When the Keystone Pipeline Pump Stations Project was complete in February, 2011, was assigned to Litigation Support as Lead Scheduler/Planner (Subject Matter Expert) in support of the Willbros litigation team.  Worked with outside consultants and attorneys preparing and analyzing plans and schedules, comparing these to actual results.  Developed recommendations to mitigate damages and resolve contract differences.

Keystone Pipeline Pump Stations Project was a multi year, in excess of $100 Million dollar, time and material contract.  There were 10 pump stations spread from the Northern Nebraska border with South Dakota South to Ponca City, Oklahoma.  We managed over 650 craft personnel spread over the 10 pump stations, with fabrication completed in Texas and Oklahoma.  Managed all planning and scheduling across all pump stations, with planners located at each station and progress reported daily.  Interfaced directly with Client and the client representative, Bechtel.  Prepared daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Set up scheduling standards, coding structure, and reports for $79 million Coker Block Turnaround, which included 14 units.  Worked with operations to develop scopes for work to be accomplished and insured that the General Contractors maintained P3 Structure, including   adding/deleting activities per Field change orders and correct manpower requirements to determine impacts to budget and schedule.  Reported to management of schedule errors and ensured that General Contractors created recovery schedules to maintain required finish milestones, when required.

2005 – 2007

Responsible for setting up Progress Schedule for installation of Expander for the FCC Unit during 2005 maintenance turnaround, already in progress.  After completion of TA duties changed to routine TA maintenance estimator, planner/scheduler.  Duties also included writing AFE’s for project as well as writing work orders and scheduling Major Equipment for outages.  Responsible for approx 5 TA’s per year.

 

The Turnaround Management Co., Valero Energy Corporation, Norco, LA - Planner/Scheduler:

2005

Responsible for creating & implementing, as required by management, P3e structure, “EPS, OBS, WBS, Resource, and Global Activity Codes” and reports for a $40 million/250K mhr, 28 day outage of 17 units, to bring refinery, producing 185,000 BPD of gasoline, diesel & heating oil, up to current specifications for a 5 year run. Other responsibilities included but not limited to, developing work packages for field, resource loading & updating schedule, reporting progress to management.

2004 - 2005

Responsible for coordination of contractor, operations planning effort and input into P3e schedule for the 2003 Lo Sulfur Mogas maintenance & project turnaround. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, update P3e schedule, creating progress reports, histograms and overall upkeep of P3e schedule structure and procedures. Provided a third party analysis of an existing estimate formulated by the contractor and validated against Gulf Coast standards for estimating. Acted as site lead for TTMC over as many as 12 other project controls personnel assigned to this site. Bayer, Baytown, Texas: Planner/Scheduler - Planned and scheduled $2 million upgrade to coatings unit as well as multiple subcontract tasks in several smaller turnarounds. Performed weekly audit of work and progress of schedule, and reported directly to Bayer project controls team.
